Nearly two-thirds of females reporters happen exposed to online abuse according to a new study posted today. Prior to the International Day when it comes to Elimination of Violence against Females and Girls (25 November), the Global Federation of Journalists (IFJ) has posted the initial link between its worldwide survey on online harassment of females reporters.
The findings reveal that 64% of feminine respondents have seen online abuse.
The web harassment takes different types including death or rape threats, insults, the devaluation of work, sexist opinions, being sent obscene images, cyberbullying, cyberstalking and account impersonation.
